A senior manager of a billion dollar Payments Company described a situation as follows:
“We [the Senior Management] just spent a week revising our long-term strategic plan. Internationally, our sales are up and the growth potential appears strong. However, sales in the U.S. are down and we’ll be making several changes to reverse that trend. One of those changes involves the transformation of our paper-based products into Prepaid Cards and I’ve accepted the responsibility of delivering a series of company-branded Prepaid Card Products.
The Sales Team has bought into the strategy, aggressively promoted the Prepaid Card concept and entered into a contract with an important Client which calls for the first Prepaid Card Product to be live in less than 6 months. I have access to a small, relatively inexperienced out-of-state development team and have assigned a Business Analyst to this effort.
Even though our strategy has been identified, my team lacks the vision and experience necessary to create and deliver the product. I need a leader who can define this product, translate that definition into detailed technical and operational specifications, hire staff and create the necessary teams, resolve conflicts, create a customer service center and deliver a fully supported product in less than 6 months. You would basically be starting with a blank Whiteboard. Can [Keystone Advisors] step in, build the team and deliver the Product on time? ”
The answer was YES! The first Product was live ahead of schedule. Three additional Products were implemented during the balance of that year.
This is just one example.
If you have an idea, e.g.,…
… that will reduce costs and improve your operating efficiency,
… that involves significant change to your existing operations process flow, or
… a new product concept,
and your team, for whatever reason, cannot implement your idea when you want it, then call us.
