Responsibility Card
One of the earliest stored value cards issued. These cards were issued to a hand full of kids as a test product called the “Responsibility Card”. Lisa, age 9, and her sister Lauren, age 12, were the youngest individuals to own an American Express Card. The card holder contains a ledger similar to Checkbook Register.
